Dogs & Their Impact

by michellerogers on July 31, 2009

I thought I would write today about dogs and the wonderful positive impact they have  on our seniors.  Rosie and Oliver my rescue dogs come to my office almost every day, unfortunately they are home today because I am manning our table at the National Senior Olympics.    I am positive they would love to be out here in the shade of the trees.

I love when my dogs have a chance to visit my clients either when they visit the office or I make a visit to their home.  There is no better feeling then when I see my Clients light up and engage because of the love they feel from an animal.

Recently we had a client stop by with his CAREGiver Oliver and Rosie immediately ran over to greet our Client.  Our Client was delighted and commented about how he loves dogs and how he missed his pets.  The simple pleasures that come from an animal interacting with people is priceless.  Our Client spent some time petting and talking to Rosie and Oliver and as you can guess they were smitten with our Client as well.

Bringing the simple pleasures to our loved ones with animals, can be a great choice.
