Active Seniors

by michellerogers on August 18, 2009

Today we had our client’s son stop by to handle business with our office. He was passing on to us how pleased he and his siblings are to see Dad happy even though Dad has Alzheimer’s disease.
Son commented that it brings joy to the siblings as they observe Dad out with his CAREGiver.  Dad’s CAREGiver engages Dad in many activities such as, walking in the park, taking rides and going for meals.   He went on to say that Dad is more active and has a busier calender then the boys!

Activities and engagement for seniors is vital as I have commented in previous blogs.  I believe we under-estimate how important it is keeping our seniors active.

It brings joy and a smile to me each time I see Dad and CAREGiver.
